Growing fences

Last year, we tried growing a fence. Using trimmed branches from the dead Elm tree for the main posts, we added rails and intermediate posts of dry Mammoth Sunflower stalks.
stalks. Then we grew the "fencing" by planting Black African Sorghum in place, later augmenting with Cosmos stems from the nearby flower beds. All was lashed together with twine, and then trimmed.
